Next Step Beacon
Last night Bill and I played at a great event in Beacon, organized by Shawn Trail, John Cason, and Next Step. It happened at Iron Fish Gallery, which was turned into a surround sound and visual space by the crew. Shawn’s group Development played some deeply grooving jazz/post rock - kind of like Jah Wobble meets Tortoise - with some beautiful sax and flute work, tasteful live audio processing and live video by Cason. It was great to be part of this event, and hopefully there will be more to follow soon.
